Savannah Ghost Tour

While I was in Savannah, I embarked on a walking ghost tour.  And while I am not a huge paranormal fan, I simply LOVE to hear about the creepy and lesser-known history.  After all, this is Georgia’s oldest city, so there was bound to be something that wasn’t taught in my high school history class!

Prepare to be spooked as your certified tour guide relays ghost stories to your group of less than 15 people.  With this small of a group, you’re definitely going to enjoy listening and trying to spot paranormal activity. You’ll be led to several spooky sites including cemeteries, historic homes, and even battlefields in Savannah, Georgia.

If  your idea of a fun guided tour includes a little bit of spook, this ghost tour of Savannah is for you!  You can book this tour here.

Tours Outside of the City

One of my favorite Savannah tours while I visited this amazing city, actually took me outside of the city.  This tour took me to the Wormsloe Plantation and to Bonaventure cemetery.

Enjoy this Savannah Tour to Wormsloe Plantation.

Bonaventure and Wormsloe

This Bonaventure and Wormsloe Tour was an incredible experience!

I was able to learn about several people who remain in Bonaventure Cemetery as well as head over to the iconic Spanish Moss laden driveway at Wormsloe.

Your first stop is to Bonaventure Cemetery.  If you’ve ever read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, you’ll remember that part of the book takes place in this very cemetery!  The famous book has encouraged travelers to visit this spooky place.  And while I admit I was a little creeped out being on the grounds, the stories were incredible!

But my favorite part of this tour was seeing the iconic Spanish-Moss-covered Oak trees!  If you’ve ever seen Savannah in photos, you’ve probably seen the images of this stunning driveway.  The plantation was also very cool and even had ruins that dated back to the 18th century right there on the grounds!

So if getting out of the city while seeing incredible pieces of history are something you would like, you have to book this Bonaventure and Wormsloe Tour here.

But if you are looking for a way to relax, you’ll probably want to check out this beach tour!

Tybee Island Beach Day

Tybee Island is an island off the coast with a stunning beach.  But why worry about finding parking or even trying to call an Uber when you can book this Tybee Island Beach Day Tour.

Take this Savannah Tour out to Tybee Island.

This tour provided morning and evening transportation to the beautiful beaches of Tybee Island.  And trust me when I say, Tybee Island is beautiful!

The driver will take you and drop you off with all that beach day equipment like chairs, umbrellas, towels, and an ice-filled cooler for your lunch and drinks.  I loved my visit to Tybee Island and if you are in need of a beach day without worrying about the hassle of parking or getting lost, you will definitely want to book this Tybee Island Tour!

Conclusion

As Georgia’s oldest city, you will definitely want to book some of these incredible Savannah Tours!  From the rich history, to the food, to the stunning beach of Tybee Island, there is a tour for everyone in Savannah Georgia.

I hope these tours will give you a great start to seeing and enjoying Savannah Georgia.  I simply loved this US City and I always recommend these few things to friends and family!
